March 2012 Entry

Sorry for the lateness, but there isn't even much to talk about. If you read the February entry, you know I was going through some medical issues. I've just been recovering from it since then. The good news is that everything is fine. At the least, some of the bumps from the boils are barely there and visible, but are a little sensitive. Thus I have not cut my hair or shaved my facial hair for a long time now. I just don't want to irritate them and have to go through that pain again. The bad news is that my body has suffered from the 2 months of not being able to work out. I've been slowly getting back to it, but my stamina isn't there anymore and I just can't do too much since my back still hurts. I'm trying, but it's a tough process.

I still haven't gotten out much either. Not that I can do much while out, but I'm still limited. I'm able to drive at least although if a carpool option is available, I will gladly be driven around. So I have gone out a few times, but I just didn't do much. I did end up being a hero for someone (and that happened right when I felt comfortable to drive again thankfully) and I got to go to the Japan Festival at the end of the month (making it the 4th-5th year in a row).

I've been watching a lot "Running Man." It's a great variety show. As much as I'd like to replicate something like it, it would take a lot of work and would require the help of many volunteers.

I did do a one month Twitter photo project where I posted a photo a day. Unfortunately I didn't gain any new followers. If you did see them, hope you enjoyed them.

And since I've been recovering and having a lot of free time and not being able to do much, I've been thinking a lot about the futures of both of these mediums. Maybe it's because of the medical stuff or the fact that I haven't earned anything in over a year, but these ventures have not been fruitful. WingedVoX has only been going for 3 months actively, but I have been discouraged over the lack of support from friends. It really sucks, but the day I posted my first video, I had a feeling that I shouldn't be doing this and so far it seems to be true. One example of the lack of support is that WingedVoX 09 was a set up for 10, which was to be a Q&A episode. I asked for questions and received zero. If no one is interested, it's hard to keep continuing. Same goes for RFM although instead of the lack of support from friends, the lack of support from family is also apparent. This is our 3rd year of being a business and there really hasn't been much going for it. I don't know how else to ask for more help when I've already asked. Again, it could be just me having too much free time to think, but I am seriously contemplating ending one or both of these.

=====Final Thoughts=====

There was one great thing that happened in March that I will never forget. It happened on March 2nd. I posted up WingedVoX 09 (see video above), which featured my VampyBitMe pin. I tweeted it to Vampy herself just to let her know not knowing if she'd actually watch it or not and minutes after tweeting it, she replied back about how touched she was by the video. We tweeted back and forth a bit and I was spazzing and smiling so much. She also shared the video on her Facebook for others to see. This happened while I was still having pains and this was the energy pill I needed to have. I felt absolutely great.

"I seriously almost died when I saw this and it made me melt. Thank you so much ♥"

"that is seriously one of the ... can i say FLIPPING CUTEST things anyone has ever done for me, im gonna cry"

"thanks for the inspiration and i am grateful"

That was the happiest I have been this year. Thank you, Vampy.

Thank you for reading. Be healthy, be thankful, be loved.

Take care.
